[TIPS] How to measure the size of the ceiling fan?

A ceiling fan is a must-have home appliance for any home. Whether you’re buying an indoor or outdoor ceiling fan for the first time,

or you’re looking to replace an existing one.

Before buying a new ceiling fan, there are two things to consider: the size of the room and the size of the fan.

The size of a ceiling fan is determined by the size of the room or the area which you are looking to cool. To determine the

square footage of the room or the area, multiply the length of the room in feet by the width of the room in feet.

The total you receive from this calculation is the size of your room in square feet. For example, if your room is 8’ by 8’,

the square footage is 64 square feet.

Ceiling fans are not one-size-fits-all fixtures. Ceiling Fan size can range in size from 14 inches to 72 inches wide.

Make sure you buy a ceiling fan that is the appropriate size for your room to ensure that it performs properly.
